Trip To Egypt

I know this is a very serious time for each one of us. I wanted to take this time to encourage you with good things before we cover other news. We can all use a little encouragement right now – Fear Not! The doors in Egypt have opened in ways we never thought would happen. Doors are opening in many areas around the world too, and it is so important for us to be aware of the miracles happening. We want to let your spirit be uplifted and restored!

This past January 26, dedicated believers joined me and Paula, accepting the challenge of doing what had never been done before: going to Egypt to minister in newly recognized churches. This is the first time in more than 700 years, that new churches were allowed to sponsor special non-government evangelistic services. We, The Cubit Foundation, were honored as the first group approved for these special services. We had services in 2 churches, had an additional special youth emphasis night, and had a special presentation at an orphanage. Not only were the Egyptian believers grateful that we came, the Lord showed up in a great and powerful way. Although security was tight to ensure our safety and the government presence was strongly evident, there was not interference of any kind and we were allowed to freely present Christ and to worship unhindered. Even though we were invited there to help in their worship experience, in reality, we were the ones who were blessed beyond anything we could have hoped or imagined. Without exception, everyone who went with us, felt their lives had been changed forever, and all want to return to Egypt. Not only did these churches invite us back, but we had invitations from several other Egyptian pastors as well. In addition, government leaders from Kuwait, Libya and Saudi Arabia attended our services and invited us to come to their countries. Without a doubt a new world of freedom in Christ has opened in Egypt and the new countries. We are anxiously looking forward to being firmly planted in the Middle East and watch what God is doing.
